Meet Our Executive Chef
Pursuing a career in the culinary arts since high school, Chef Greg Grohowski has since shared his flavorful and imaginative creations with people across the world. A number of prestigious roles have taken him from the Chippewa Hotel on Mackinac Island in Michigan to the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa and the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa in Hawaii.
While working with renowned Chef Jaochim Splichal, Executive Chef of Wind Star Sail Cruises, Chef Grohowski spent nearly two years traveling to the Caribbean and French Polynesian islands and overseeing daily cruise line menus. He then played an integral role in launching the Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa before settling in southern California.
Today, as Executive Chef at Hyatt Regency Irvine, he oversees a staff of more than 100 as well as four restaurants, three cocktail lounges, room service operations and off-premise and in-house catering and convention services.
